An estimated 920,000 companion animals have been euthanized annually in the US!
Last Chance Animal Rescue is a charitable, not-for profit 501(c)(3) organization, created to save the lives of companion animals. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, as reported in Newsweek October 2023, 6.3 million pets are surrendered to U.S. shelters annually! Over 900,000 surrendered animals are euthanized every year with some of the highest rates found in southeastern states. Our goal is to rescue as many at-risk animals from shelters in the southeast and relocate them to No-Kill facilities or foster homes in hopes of finding them the forever families they deserve.
We work with veterinarians for spay-neuter and provide other medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened home. We depend on your donation to continue to save these helpless, loving animals from being killed.
